The Sound Kitchen
On September 9th I attended an energetic open house for a new music studio in Peterborough, The Sound Kitchen. This recording studio, which is located on Lake Street, is the creative project of the multi-talented Beau Dixon. Beau fronts the Slips and the High Fives and The Beau Dixon Band as well is the guest with a number of other artists. He’s an artistic workaholic who has his fingers in many creative pies. The music studio opening attracted many of Peterborough’s musical talent to support Beau’s new venture. Offering the latest in recording gear, The Sound Kitchen is a place you can have your material professionally recorded in a cozy environment. In addition to the recording studio, Beau offers a variety of private lessons that includes vocal, guitar, bass, piano and drums. If you have been dreaming of having a voice for singing Christmas carols this holiday season, then you will be especially interested in “Belt it Out!â€. Beau and Bridget Foley have partnered up to provide vocal training in group sessions with a focus on harmonizing. Talent is not required, just desire. Call today 745-5304 and make your musical dreams come true. Learn more about Beau Dixon at www.beaudixon.com.
