2008 December > Meet the Petes Bowl-A-Thon

Over 80 participants and 15 Peterborough Petes dropped by Lakeview Bowl to knock down some pins for a great cause. The Down Syndrome Association of Peterborough is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year and this was Down Syndrome Awareness Week. The association works for the equality of all Canadians with Down Syndrome. The bowling event raised $5000 which will help support programs and services for people with Down Syndrome. Prizes were donated for the raffle table and special prizes for highest pledges were donated by Masters Bowlers of Ontario and Steve Doyle, Molsons. www.downsyndromepeterborough.ca
