The humane society isn’t haunted but they know how to throw a Halloween dance. Fran Robert, organizer, thought of this fundraiser to help the animals of the shelter. Tracey from the Humane Society stated “This is awesome that someone would do this for the animals. Community support in Peterborough is fantastic.” There was a stack of prizes, generously donated by local businesses. Over 125 tickets were sold for the first time event and hopefully the Humane Society Halloween Dance will become an annual event.
