2008 December > Fashion Show & Food of Festival The Festival of Trees pre-opener kicked off at Peterborough Square November 6th with a Fashion Show accompanied by Food of Festival to entertain the crowd. The event was generously sponsored by Scotiabank. Fashion Retailers that participated were Gentry Apparel, Tango Women’s Wear, Brides by Tara, Cahills, Charlotte’s Web, Cottage Toys, Plush, John Roberts, T-Elle, Hellwinkie’s and Penningtons. The Food of Festival continued throughout the month as several Peterborough restaurants including 38 Degrees, Black Honey Desserts & Coffee, Elements, Natas Cafe, Rare, Simply Sushi, Shish-Kabob Hut, Shafiq's Taste of India, and The Thirsty Canadian.
