2008 December > Celebrating Life - Aboriginal Entertainment

Local Aboriginal talent was showcased at Markethall with performances by Sarah Delcarlo, Percy Trapper, Missy Knott, Carmen Jones, Dave Mowatt and Brock Stonefish and the Battle River Blues Band. Host for the event were Niijkiwendidaa Anishnaabekwewag Services Circle (NASC) a not-for-profit organization that provides services for Aboriginal women and their families. The NASC focuses on building healthy relationships and communities without abuse. The benefit concert “Celebrating Life through Aboriginal Entertainment” was well attended by all ages.
