2008 December > The Pumpkin Patch

Building on the success of the Kids Summer Camps earlier in the year, the Township of Cavan Monaghan hosted the 2nd annual Pumpkin Patch for local children. Pumpkins were provided by Casa Berry Farm and kids accompanied by their parents applied their carving and decorating skills to create that perfect pumpkin. The Gym at the township office was the perfect indoor venue where they offered other activities like the the jumping castle for these energetic youngsters. The well attended event was free for local families and it gave rural children a chance to connect with each other in a fun social setting. Look for more activites coming your way in Cavan Monaghan.
