Heritage Day In Buckhorn
Heritage Day in Buckhorn was a day that featured many way cool activities and interesting demonstrations. Where else would you see the Clogging Grandmothers, tomahawk throwing, a fur fashion show and chainsaw art? That’s just a little piece of the fun that took place at the Buckhorn Community Centre. The day began with a pancake breakfast and ended with the Heritage Day Dance with DJ John Davis. There was also an International food court showcasing foods from distant lands that were the countries of origin for local residents. Family happenings included children’s games, horse drawn sleigh rides, races and entertainment.
