We dropped in on “Discover Nature on Family Day” at Fleming College to take a few snaps and talk with the kids. The families were involved in many different nature based activities that included presentations from the Peterborough Astronomical Association, Camp Kawartha, Kawartha Turtle Trauma Centre, Kawartha Field Naturalists and Ministry of Natural Resources. We wanted to know what impressed the kids, so we asked the question, “What did you learn today at the Discover Nature Family Day?”
