This Goalie is ready for action !

Under the Lock, Outdoor Ice

This event marked the first time that a hockey tournament was played on natural outdoor ice , sanctioned by the Ontario Minor Hockey Association. This is the way Canadians started playing hockey! Players of all ages were excited to be part of this outdoor tournament, especially at the base of such a landmark as the Peterborough liftlock. Sixteen teams showed up for the day and brought over 280 players to take part in the tournament. What a great way to celebrate the official “Hockey Day in Canada" January 30th.
