Polar Bear Ice Sculpture Competition

We couldn’t wait to get to Memorial Park in Lakefield for the annual ice sculpting competition. As part of the Polarfest weekend, professional ice sculptors transformed blocks of ice into magical ice art. This year, the theme was "Superheroes"and we saw a lot of our favourite comic book characters in ice. Young and old alike were in awe of the creative talent displayed by the sculptors. These sculptures will continue to be on display at the park as long as the weather will allow.
