Kelli Mitchell Camp Fund Baseball Tournament

It was a brutally hot day in July when 9 teams hit the baseball diamonds at Wilson Fields for the Annual Kelli Mitchell Camp Fund Baseball Tournament. The tournament was organized by Ivan Goodhand and his wife Karen. "batters up" the umps cried and the teams hit the fields like troopers. In fact, we caught a few people cooling off with popsicles under the tents. The Camp Fund’s objective is to ensure that that kids who wouldn’t ordinarily get to participate in a summer camp, be given the opportunity. The event is expected to raise about $3,000. Congratulations!
